These Terms & Conditions govern the use of clairelune.it and the purchase of products through our website. By accessing the website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Products

Claire Lune creates contemporary ceramic objects, sculptures, lighting, ritual pieces, artworks and limited collections.

Many of the works available on the website are handcrafted individually or produced in very small batches.

Where specified, products are sold together with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Product photographs are intended to represent each piece as accurately as possible. However, colours may vary slightly depending on individual screen settings.

3. Handmade Nature of the Work

Every Claire Lune piece is made by hand.

Variations in form, dimensions, texture, colour, glaze, surface or finish are an inherent part of the making process and should not be considered defects. These characteristics reflect the individuality of each object and contribute to its unique identity.

Small marks resulting from firing, glazing or natural material behaviour are part of the artistic and handcrafted nature of the work.

4. One-of-a-Kind Pieces

Where indicated, artworks and ceramic objects are unique pieces.

Once sold, they cannot be reproduced exactly.

Each one-of-a-kind work may present natural variations that distinguish it from all others.

5. Limited Editions

Certain collections may be produced as limited editions.

When applicable, edition details and Certificates of Authenticity will be specified on the relevant product page.

6. Ritual Objects

Claire Lune ritual objects are conceived as functional works of art intended to encourage moments of contemplation, presence and sensorial engagement.

Any references to energetic, symbolic or contemplative practices are offered for personal reflection only and should not be interpreted as medical, therapeutic or psychological claims.

Products sold by Claire Lune are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition.

7. Availability

Product availability is subject to change without notice.

Adding an item to your shopping cart does not reserve it.

Claire Lune reserves the right to discontinue products or collections at any time.

8. Pre-Orders

Selected products are available on a pre-order basis.

Estimated production time is generally 4–6 weeks, unless otherwise stated on the product page.

As each object is handcrafted individually, production times are estimates and may occasionally vary.

Should a significant delay occur, Claire Lune will contact you as soon as possible.

9. Custom & Bespoke Orders

Claire Lune accepts selected bespoke commissions.

Production times, pricing and payment conditions are agreed individually.

Custom-made or personalised pieces cannot be cancelled, returned or refunded unless required by applicable law.

10. Prices

All prices are shown in the currency displayed on the website.

Applicable taxes are calculated during checkout according to the destination country.

For orders shipped outside the European Union, local customs duties, import taxes or brokerage fees may apply.

These charges are the responsibility of the customer.

11. Payments

Claire Lune accepts secure payments through Shopify and authorised payment providers.

12. Shipping

Orders are dispatched from Italy.

Claire Lune ships internationally using trusted shipping partners including DHL and Poste Italiane.

Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance only and cannot be guaranteed.

Claire Lune is not responsible for delays caused by customs procedures, weather conditions, strikes or circumstances beyond our control.

13. Customs Duties

International orders shipped outside the European Union may be subject to customs duties, taxes or import fees.

These charges are determined by local authorities and remain the responsibility of the customer.

14. Right of Withdrawal

Customers located within the European Union have the right to withdraw from their purchase within fourteen (14) days of receiving the goods, in accordance with applicable consumer legislation.

15. Returns

Returned items must:

be unused;
be returned in their original packaging;
include any accessories and documentation;
be adequately protected during return shipment.

Claire Lune reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.

16. Damaged Items

Please inspect your order upon delivery.

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact Claire Lune within a reasonable time after receipt, including photographs of both the packaging and the product.

We will work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

17. Care of Ceramic Objects

Ceramic objects should be handled with care.

Improper use, accidental impacts, thermal shock or failure to follow any care instructions may result in damage for which Claire Lune cannot be held responsible.

Where care instructions are provided, customers are encouraged to read them before using the product.

18. Intellectual Property

All content published on this website—including photographs, texts, artworks, ceramic designs, graphics, logos and visual identity—is the intellectual property of Claire Lune unless otherwise stated.

No content may be reproduced, distributed, copied or used without prior written permission.

19. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Claire Lune shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or from the purchase or use of its products.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.

20. Privacy

The processing of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.

21. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Italian law.

Nothing contained in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights granted under the laws of the customer's country of residence.

Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts as provided by applicable Italian and European legislation.

22. Changes to these Terms

Claire Lune may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The version published on this website at the time an order is placed shall apply to that purchase.
