All "In stock"/"Ready to ship" items are packed and posted within 1-3 working days of placing the order. On the day of delivery, you will receive a confirmation email with the tracking no. All items are sent via SDA courier as standard, which usually takes 2-5 working days. Express delivery takes between 24h-48h. If you have a specific deadline (birthday, anniversary, wedding, etc.) approaching, please specify that in the "Add a note" section before check out.
Shipping prices can be a big voice of cost for international orders. For this reason I try very hard to keep them to a minimum. I only charge what it costs me to ship the items. I do not make any profit on postage. All international orders are sent via SDA international, which normally takes 7-14 days depending on your location. SDA international is a registered delivery service so you will always be provided with tracking. All international orders are insured.
Throughout the years I have tried several different packaging methods and materials to make sure your items arrive to you in perfect conditions. In the unlikely event that your pottery is damaged during transit please contact us at info@clairelune.it so we can understand how to best assist you to fix the issue.
I take pride in making sure that ClaireLune Ceramics is an environmentally friendly and sustainable business. For this reason, I am always looking for new sustainable ways to pack your items and to do so in a way that minimises the use of packaging materials. All of my packaging materials do not use plastic and are either up-cycled, recycled or recyclable.
DISHWASHER All my functional pottery is dishwasher safe. However, in order to keep your pieces in the best possible condition in the long term, I recommend hand washing and gentle care. When washing them in the dishwasher, I recommend choosing a gentle programme as well as gentle detergents. Keep in mind that there is always a greater risk of ceramics getting chipped or cracked in the dishwasher due to possible slipping and hitting between plates and harsher chemical detergents. MICROWAVE Although high-fired stoneware ceramics are generally speaking MICROWAVE SAFE, I am not able to test a range of different microwaves. So, just to be on the safe side, I advise you to avoid using my ceramics in the microwave as much as possible. THERMAL SHOCK All handmade ceramics are more sensitive to thermal shocks than industrial ceramics. Thermal shock can result in the cracking of a pot. Never put a plate from the fridge right into the oven or microwave. Never put a hot dish into a sink of cold water. Do not preheat your oven when using a piece of handmade ceramics in it.
If your order is a gift and you would like to request gift wrapping, simply specify this in the "Add A Note" section before check out.
