"Respiro" series
"Respiro" (Italian for "breath") is at the heart of this limited series of incense burners. Made with high quality stoneware, fired in oxidation, the shape of these pieces was inspired by the feeling of gently gliding in the air, like a petal or a leaf that falls off a tree. Their unique shape is obtained through intuitive tearing motions, guided by the rhythm of my breath, like in some sort of meditative dance. The thinness of the surface and lightness of each piece also want to symbolise the Air element, on a sensorial level and experiential level. Each "Respiro" incense burner is a true one-of-a-kind piece and you will be the only one to own it.
